Even the name is appealing...Strength for Life was featured in the January 2010 issue of the Long Island Edition (www.naturalawakeningsli.com). We met Rachel Sokol at the Navel Expo this fall (Nutrition, Aesthestics, Vitality, Efficacy, Life)and she saw the need to share our story to more Long Islanders. As you know we offer free exercise classes and wellness weekends to cancer patients/survivors and our intent is to reach out and educate about the benefits of exercise through recovery. At a time when the last thing you want to do is exercise - it can be the thing that makes you feel the best.
The next NAVEL (Wellness) Expo will be held May 2, 2010 at the Huntington Hilton and it is worth your visit - so many incredible lectures, new products and the opportunity to meet practitioners of both integrative and alternative medicine. The cost is $10 for an all day pass - money well spent for the education you will receive.
